“It was shocking to me to learn that current Pennsylvania law allows discrimination against our gay and transgender community members. Together we must change this by passing the Pennsylvania Fairness Act. In just a few short years, the majority of our workforce will be made up of the millennial generation, a generation that can and will do wonderful things if everyone is given an opportunity to succeed. Pennsylvania must actively step into the 21st century and embrace our future and the millennial generation or we will be on the losing side of economic prosperity.”

To ensure that growth continues, I am committed to providing a welcoming and dynamic work environment for our employees. The Pennsylvania Fairness Act is legislation that must pass so that, once and for all, state law prevents discrimination against our colleagues or new employees who are gay, lesbian, transgender or bisexual.”

The fact that the state still has a law on the books that allows discrimination of any kind tears at the very core of our success. By passing the Pennsylvania Fairness Act, the Pennsylvania legislature has an opportunity to correct this barrier to our economic potential.”

Patricia Dickert Nieves – Scranton
“In running IMG_4269NovusACS day-to-day, there are many economic and workforce aspects that are the difference between success or failure. At the top of the list to ensure success are our employees. I want my team to feel welcome and respected for the work they do because that translates into providing the highest quality of care to our clients. We need to know the state has our back regarding discrimination. Passage of the Pennsylvania Fairness Act is necessary not only to further our potential here in the Lehigh Valley, but everywhere in our incredible state.”
Allen Smith – Bethlehem
